On
October 28th and 29th the Girls High School State Championships
were played at The Ohio State Stickney Center. Five girls from
Wickertree qualified for the Tournament.

Bridger put up a battle with Neela Vaez, the eventual State
Champion, but lost 7-5, 6-1. She was a part of the State Championship
team for Upper Arlington. It was their 8th State Team Title in
a row.
Christine
Johnston finished her high school career with a Runner-Up
finish. She accomplished a State Doubles Title and 2 State Runner
Up finishes. She was a part of the State Championship team for
Upper Arlington also.

eventual State Champion in Division II, 6-3, 6-2. She was pleased
with her effort and hopes to get to States next year in her senior
year.

in the State Tournament. Unfortunately, they lost 6-4, 6-1 to
the eventual 4th place team. This was her final match of her high

the State Tournament. They won their first match but then lost

Mighty
Mites Halloween Party
The
Mighty Mite Halloween Party was a blast. Mr. CJ hosted his annual
Halloween Party this past month. The court was filled with many
characters including a mummy, a ballerina, a princess and a scary
character. CJ was a faithful Reds baseball player. The kids had
fun, CJ was his silly self and the party was a blast. We look
forward to having this again next year.
Wickertree
& Racquet Club Showdown
We
hosted our first of hopefully many club verses club challenges.
We teamed up with the Racquet Club and had some of the Futures
participants play against their students. It was lots of fun and
we had pizza afterwards. As a goal to unify central Ohio's tennis
clubs this was a step in the right direction. We will be having
more of these in the months to come. Contact Doug DiRosario if
you are interested in playing in future Showdowns.
Going
to Miss a Program?
Fill
out the Cancellation Form near the front desk In furthering communication,
I am asking that you fill out a cancellation form when you are
unable to particpate for a month or more in your specific program.
Forms are available near the front desk. Our pre-billing system
is set up to charge your account at the beginning of the month.
So, we will bill your account unless we hear from you. Please
fill the form out and hand it to the Director of your program.
We will then hand that sheet to our accountant to make the proper
adjustments and have your notification on record. This will hopefully
remove any miscommunications we may have. Feel free to talk to
myself or Connie Metzmaier, our billing accountant.
