Mighty
Mites
The
Mighty Mites program is our introductory clinic for children between
4 and 6 years old. Classes are held on our unique pee-wee courts.
Several class times are available. Each 45-minute class incorporates
hand-eye coordination drills, basic stroke techniques, knowledge
of the game, and tons of fun. Students are promoted to the Rookies
Program after passing a basic skills test given by the Mighty
Mite Director on a regular sized tennis court.
The
requirements on the skill test are as follows:
- Ability
to hit forehands & backhands.
- Ability
to throw a ball over the net (6 out of 10).
- Knowing
the lines of the court and scoring in tennis.
