The Wickertree
Fitness Center includes state-of-the-art equipment that members
may use as often as they wish. In addition, specialized programs
are scheduled for group exercise classes as well as personal training
by our certified trainers. You'll find that Wickertree Fitness
Club is a different kind of club. It is a luxurious, personal
club that focuses on the needs of members of all ages and
all programs strive to make keeping fit FUN!

The fitness
club is also an integral part of our Junior
Tennis Academy. Specialized programs help the students develop
physically so they can achieve their maximum tennis-playing potential.
The fitness
club is available for non-tennis as well as tennis members.

Fitness
Orientation
A fitness
center professional will teach the member how to correctly use
the weight training and cardiovascular equipment. Members will
also be taught the fundamentals of a workout routine. Members
will receive a general orientation addressing all the major equipment
and workout related questions. Members may request an individualized
orientation if he or she has specific needs.
Fitness
Check-up
This is an
abbreviated version of the full Fitness Evaluation. Fitness check-ups
increase motivation through self awareness of current physical
health and ability. The Fitness Check-Up assesses body fat %,
abdominal strength , and aerobic endurance. Members may use this
service once every 3 months to assess progress.
Fitness
Evaluation
Through various
assessments, the clientÕs existing health and fitness status is
reviewed. Testing includes blood pressure, speed, agility, aerobic
endurance, strength, flexibility and body fat %. Test scores are
compared to normative data and are used to monitor clientÕs progress.
Note: Participant may decline any test for any reason. This evaluation
is $30.
One-on-One
Personal Training
Personal
training allows a client to receive personalized and customized
fitness training to help reach agreed upon fitness objectives.

Group
Training
Three or more
clients with common fitness goals are provided training on a specific

Metabolism
Analysis
Knowing how
many calories your body utilizes from day-to-day makes weight-loss
more attainable. By utilizing the MedGem device, the dietitian
is able to measure and assess the clientÕs unique caloric expenditure.
Take a metabolism analysis and youÕll learn:

of calories burned at rest (aka: resting metabolic rate)

of calories burned while performing unique daily activities
- number
of calories required to achieve optimal weight goals
